ADSL @ home
HURRAY!
My ADSL connection has finally been moved!
Six and a half weeks after I emailed IPact about my new address (on May 10), and two weeks after the connection has been terminated at my old address, I now have a working ADSL connection at my new home.
Binnenweg Blog
My good friend Henk-Jan finally started his own weblog: Binnenweg Blog.
I hope I can help him get a few hits with this entry, and be found by google, of course!
And because he added a link to my weblog, I will return the favor and add Binnenweg Blog to my Links.

ASCI Conference 2004
I just returned from Zeeland, where I attended the Tenth Annual Conference of the Advanced School for Computing and Imaging. I had to present a paper there on Thursday.
The conference was held in Port Zélande, a very nice location indeed.
It was an interesting conference with some great invited speakers, such as Rüdiger Westermann and Andy Tanenbaum!
Skating
I finished a four-lesson introductory course inline skating today. That’s really great fun! I had never done it before. I had done a little bit of ice skating alright, but not inline skating. It was so much fun that I decided to buy my own skates after the first lesson. So I’ve got my own, brand new, Salomon Motion 7.5 Ti skates (plus all the necessary protection of course) and they’re great!
(On the website I can only find the Motion 8 Ti and Motion 7, so mine are probably somewhere inbetween!)
The courses were given by the Ski & Skate centrum Bergschenhoek in “het Bergsche Bos” in Rotterdam, which I can recommend heavily to anyone interested – both the courses and the location, that is!
They will organise a “Thursday night skate” (see Hot news) every week, for a couple of months, so you might very well find me there some time.
