PhD thesis has arrived

Today, a bunch of boxes were delivered at the TU Delft for me. My PhD thesis has arrived! Finally! Another giant leap in the whole PhD process. Only one big hurdle still to take: the defence on June 12th.

See my publications for a pdf version of the thesis.

Computers & Graphics

Yeehaw! We can add another journal paper to our publication list!

It has taken a little over a year since our first (hardcopy!) submission. We already got the definitive “accept” on January 3rd, but today I was informed that the article is now available online, together with all publication details and so on. You can find it here:, although for the full text, you will need a valid login.

ASCI Conference 2004

I just returned from Zeeland, where I attended the Tenth Annual Conference of the Advanced School for Computing and Imaging. I had to present a paper there on Thursday.

The conference was held in Port Zélande, a very nice location indeed.
It was an interesting conference with some great invited speakers, such as Rüdiger Westermann and Andy Tanenbaum!

The final version of the article I had to present there was on April 5th, and the presentation itself had to be ready on April 22nd, when I had to present it.

So that was very good news! And quick too, because we submitted our revised version only last Tuesday.
